Our soap is carefully produced by hand at Ester Soap Studio, Mikawa, Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
Thinned Japanese cedar from the forests of Mt. Hakusan is used.

The allergen of a cedar pollen allergy is cedar pollen, not cedar essence or resin.
If you are worried about an allergic reaction, please conduct a patch test*.

*How to conduct a patch test:
(Apply soap to the inside of the upper arm and leave it on for 24-48 hours. Rinse it off, and check it one hour later, as well as the following day. If there is no abnormality, you can use the soap. )

Our soap contains only natural ingredients and has no preservatives or chemical additives. It is handmade according to a process involving four to six weeks of maturation and the cold process method*.
As drained water containing our soap is decomposed by bacteria found in nature, it is not harmful to the environment.

*Cold process method
(1) Weigh the oil, essential oil, and other raw materials.
(2) Blend them thoroughly so that the oil is evenly distributed. Add caustic soda water and mix.
(3) Add essential oil and essence a little at a time and stir.
(4) When the mixture has thickened, pour it into the mold and put it in a warm chamber
(5) Leave it to dry for about one week, and then take it out of the mold. When its surface is dry, cut it into bars of soap.
(6) Leave the soap to cure for about 40 days in a place with controlled humidity and temperature.

We aimed to produce soap using simple ingredients with a certain purpose. Thus this soap can be used for anyone regardless of age, sex and skin type.
We particularly recommend it for people who are worried about aging skin or sensitive skin.

If the baby is more than one year old, has been weaned and is eating solid food, the soap can be used.

No petroleum-derived preservatives or antiseptic agents are used. All ingredients are plant-derived.
